Trailer
Wax transforms within a few minutes, melts, drips, flows, burns, spreads over a surface, cools, dries, can be modelled, covers, tears... The family biographies of the performers are expressed in the forms of existence of the red wax: Stories of migration and exile experiences, family rituals, gender socialisation and the self-images and discourses of the diaspora. The stage is empty, an experimental and laboratory space, the contemporary version of traditional campfires where history and narratives are passed on.
